Azizi to sue Razali over bribery allegations

Azizi Abu Naim (PN-Gua Musang) confirmed that he would be suing Bersatu information chief Razali Idris for alleging that he received inducement to declare support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“This is wrong and is the worst slander.

“I will file summons against him (Razali) for accusing me of receiving a bribe,” he said, reported Malaysiakini.

Razali had claimed that the were elements of corruption to induce the four Bersatu MPs in exchange for the support.

The four Bersatu MPs are Azizi, Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid (Kuala Kangsar), Suhaili Abdul Rahman (Labuan), and Zahari Kechik (Jeli).

Azizi is the third opposition lawmaker to declare support.

He is not the only one who wants to use the legal channel.

Suhaili too is contemplating to take legal action over similar allegations.

In another related development, there are rumours that a Pas MP would also declare his support for the premier.
