Unsold real estate, poverty and overdevelopment in KL to be raised

Unsold real estate properties, poverty and the complex problem overdevelopment and rising population growth rate of Kuala Lumpur are among the key issues raised in Dewan Rakyat today.

Suhaimi Nasir (BN-Libaran) asked Local Government Development Minister on the efforts undertaken by the minister to overcome unsold real estate that is caused by real estate value mismatch and people’s ownership ability.

Dr Halimah Ali (PN-Kapar) questioned the Prime Minister on the number of poor who have been registered under the eKasih program and the progress report in ending poverty, especially in Kapar.

Dato’ Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik (PH-Balik Pulau requested the Prime Minister to state efforts undertaken to face the challenge of having continuous development due to constantly rising population growth in Kuala Lumpur.
