Pas should self reflect in the mirror
Instead of being a busy body on the public over entertainment, Pas should just focus on its own priorities, be it domestic or international issues.
Even better, it should reflect itself in the mirror before beginning its verbal diarrhoea on morality and sins.
Perhaps Pas should even consider sending its members to Palestine instead of riding on the issues for its own political gain.
Remember Terengganu Pas Youth paraded in warrior cosplay, armed with swords, shields, and body armour, as well as bows and arrows.
It would be a good hands on experience for Pas to experience the Israel – Palestine conflict on ground zero.
Abdul Latiff Abdul Rahman (PN-Kuala Krai) called the ‘Stars on Fire’ concert scheduled for Dec 1, featuring popular Indian artistes such as Hrithik Roshan, Malaika Arora, Vaani Kapoor and Prabhu Deva, to be cancelled.
“Besides (Coldplay), a concert called ‘Stars on Fire’ will be held in early December, involving famous artistes from India.
“I am of the view that this concert is unsuitable and insensitive to the rakyat when our brothers and sisters are being slaughtered in Palestine,” he said at the Dewan Rakyat today.
In calling for both the concerts to be cancelled, he said that it is the government’s responsibility to shut all doors to maksiat (sinful acts).
As for acts of maksiat, perhaps Pas should look at itself in the mirror.
Pas lacks gray matter
One does not need to list out the names of Pas leaders who have been making false allegations against others and losing their cases in the courts.
Pas leaders have paid over hundred million ringgit when they got sued for defamation.
It is this very same Pas leaders whose morality comes into question as a former secretary general was caught in a sex tape.
Pas leaders are the ones who are riding their own faith to satisfy their lust.
And yet they have the cheek to speak about maksiat.
Both the Coldplay and ‘Stars on Fire’ concerts allows Malaysia to showcase itself as a destination for music lovers.
It would generate the economy in terms of business activities and tourism.
However Pas has does not have the gray matter to think beyond the scope of faith and morality that they themselves failed to adhere to.
