Bersatu 4 never met me before declaring their support

PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has denied enticing opposition MPs to throw their support for his administration.

In his closing speech of the PKR national congress here, Anwar confirmed that he never met the Bersatu MPs before they decided to declare their support for the government.

“When they sought to meet me, I told them to make a decision first (to support the government) before meeting me,” he said at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

Anwar said the quartet decided to switch support after seeing the economic growth brought by his administration.

The four Bersatu MPs who recently pledged their support for Anwar are Datuk Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid (Kuala Kangsar), Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman (Labuan), Azizi Abu Naim (Gua Musang) and Zahari Kechik (Jeli).
