Congrats Corporal Mazlan, says ATM for his quick action
Malaysian Army (ATM) praised the swift response of Corporal Mazlan Abdul Rahman who saved two people who fell off the Penang Bridge yesterday.
“The swift action saved the lives of the civilians believed to have fallen into the sea. The bravery and quick action shown by him should serve as an example for all TDM personnel. Congratulations and well done, Corporal Mazlan,” it said in a statement.
ATM via its Facebook page stated that Mazlan of the Second Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment jumped into the sea upon heating cries for help from beneath the bridge when he was passing by the area.
He then performed CPR on the victims.
