Qatar, France broker humanitarian aid for Gazans, hostages
Qatar and France have brokered a deal to send humanitarian aid for the hostages held by Hamas and and Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
Medicines would be delivered to Israeli hostages held by Hamas. Basic supplies would be given to Gazans. Both Israel and Hamas have agreed to the deal.
The humanitarian aid supply would leave Doha, Qatar to Egypt tomorrow, reported the BBC.
There are over 132 hostages believed to be still held by Hamas.
Last week Israel approached Qatar to secure a deal so that medicine can be given to the hostages.
Since the offensive commenced following the attack on Oct 7, 2023, about 85 percent of Gaza population have been displaced.
