Why no police report over sexual harassment?

Bukit Bintang MP Fong Kui Lun is puzzled to hear allegations by former US journalist Christine Hill. She had claimed that she was constantly sexually harassed while walking in Kuala Lumpur.

Fong questioned why Hill had lodged a police report, reported China Press.

Guang Ming Daily highlighted the case of an elderly Chinese man and nine month old daughter begging at a hawker centre in Penang. Their action had caused a disturbance. Since then Social Welfare Department intervened as the family was not enrolled in any welfare assistance programs.

The department has taken custody of the child.
