Selangor DAP forms committee for the late Lee Kee Hiong’s funeral

Selangor DAP would form a specific committee to manage the funeral of Kuala Kubu Baharu assemblywoman Lee Kee Hiong who passed away yesterday morning. She succumbed to cancer.

The party’s state chapter secretary Ng Sze Han said the committee is formed to assist the family of the late would be led by him and coordinated by Selangor DAP Wanita acting chief Yeo Bee Yin.

“Selangor DAP is saddened by the passing of Lee Kee Hiong, the KKB state assemblywoman. She was a representative of the people, a principled and dedicated leader.

“She held the seat for over 10 years. Her passing is a huge loss for Selangor DAP and Selangor government.

Members of the public can pay their respect to the late Lee from today until 24 March at Nirvana Center KL. The visiting hours for today is 3 pm to 10pm.

Visiting hours for the other two days is 12 noon to 10 pm.

The cortege would leave for cremation that would be held at Nirvana Crematorium in Shah Alam at 10am on 25 March.

Party chairman Lim Guan Eng, vice chairman Teresa Kok, deputy secretary general Liew Chin Tong and committee member Lim Hui Ying would be paying their last respects this afternoon.
