Misi Gila ended with a family reunited

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s determination played a vital role in reuniting Cinta Gaza Malaysia chief executive officer (CEO) Muhammad Nadir Al-Nuri Kamaruzaman and his family, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar.

“The Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) extends our utmost appreciation for the Prime Minister’s determination to successfully reunite Nadir Al-Nuri’s family,” Mohd Na’im said in a statement today.

“This success has highlighted the deep concern of the Prime Minister for the welfare of the people, in addition to his highly respected leadership and wisdom globally.

“Hence, the significant mission to reunite the family of Brother Nadir Al-Nuri, previously in Palestine, has been successfully accomplished.

“In this blessed month of Syawal, let us strengthen our unity and pray to Allah for blessings and well-being of the Palestinian people,” he added, emphasising the importance of ongoing support for the prime minister and encouraging solidarity in the pursuit of peace and prosperity in Palestine.

Recently Muhammad Nadir Al-Nuri wrote a Facebook post entitled 183 Long Days.

The post revealed Anwar’s involvement in bringing his family out of Gaza.

The Prime Minister’s political secretary, Farhan Fauzi, contacted and instructed him to go to a certain place with Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organisations (Mapim) CEO Dr Ahmad Sani Abdul Alim Araby. Upon arrival, he found out that his family was waiting for him.

“How surprised I was when the door opened, and I was greeted by my child who had been appearing in my dreams for so many nights. A father’s tears welled up, unable to contain the longing…” he said in a Facebook post.

Misi Gila (crazy mission) These are the only words Muhammad Nadir Al-Nuri can think of to describe the whole ordeal.

“I have become accustomed to the wars in Gaza, witnessing loss, tears, and the resilience of life, but this mission, I call it ‘Misi Gila,’ because it was not easy to evacuate my family amidst rocket fire and bomb blasts, and ongoing tensions at the border.

“Yet, quietly, our country’s leader reached out to their counterparts there; it turns out this humanitarian diplomacy is far more effective than other methods.

“The process was swift, organized, and smooth despite being filled with countless implicit challenges. The stories will unfold one by one, but not all are mine to share,” he said.

He later added: “But the main character in this ‘Misi Gila’ is our Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim himself!”

He sings praises of Anwar’s effort in the ordeal.

“The actions of PMX in blocking the entry of colonizer ships into our ports, the firm declaration of support for HMS, and the latest resolute stance in front of the German Chancellor have made Malaysia’s name resonate among the common folk on the blessed earth’s streets, besides becoming the talk of the town internationally.

“May we continue to stand united in defending our brothers’ fate, becoming champions on the world stage, and daring to translate words into actions in the real world,” he said.

In the same post, he gives thanks to those who helped him. “To PMX, PMO, (Dr) Sani, and all those who contributed to this effort directly or through prayers, our family expresses countless heartfelt thanks,” he said.
