Nga’s aide candidate for Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election

Pang Sock Tao, an aide of Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, is expected to be named as a candidate in the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election.

The 31-year-old Pang who hails from Ampang, Selangor, previously worked as a news presenter for Ubah TV, a video channel owned by DAP.

Prior to this several other names were considered to contest in KKB.

Among those who are speculated include Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo’s special officer, Mandeep Singh.

DAP’s election director Ng Sze Han recently had said they had shortlisted upto 10 candidates to vie for the semi urban mixed constituency.

The by-election is set to take place on 11 May. It had to be called for due to the death of its incumbent Lee Ki Hiong who succumbed to cancer.
