17 Indian NGOs back Pang for KKB

A total of 17 Indian NGOs in Kuala Kubu Baharu have come forward in support of Pakatan Harapan candidate Pang Sock Tao.

The 17 were made up of resident associations, Hindu temples, social, welfare, cultural, youth, sports, education organisations.

They declared their support for Pang at an event that was organised by OMS Foundation founder P Thiagarajan.

“I believe that every individual have the right to voice out their views in politics and I respect that right,” said Thiagarajan.

“I would like to be seen as someone open to all the communities, beyond political leanings,” he said at the get together that was held at a Chinese restaurant in Kuala Kubu Baharu.

He also branded those who do not respect the democratic choices in an election irresponsible.

“They will be looked at as traitors to democratic values and are dishonest.”

The theme of the meet up with the NGOs is Indian communities cooperation for the wellbeing of Kuala Kubu Baharu.
