Training aircraft crashed in Sungkai, police confirms
Perak police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri confirmed that a training aircraft crashed in the Besout 2 Tambahan plantation area in Sungkai this morning.
“Yes it was a training aircraft and the passengers survived,” he said.
The passengers – a man and a woman were onboard the aircraft when the aircraft crashed at 9.55am. They have been sent to Slim River Hospital.
Video of the incident has been circulating.
The light aircraft Cesna 172 that crashed belonged to Layang-Layang Flying Academy.
