PH-BN bagged two Malay majority polling districts in KKB

In terms of polling districts, the Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional coalition regained two Malay majority polling districts in the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election.

The coalition regained Kampung Air Jernih and Pertak that it lost during the state polls, revealed Institut Darul Ehsan.

PH retained the Chinese majority and mixed polling districts.

Opposition coalition, PN only retained Bandar Utama Batang Kali and Ampang Pecah.

Both are Malay majority polling districts that it gained since the general election in 2022.

The Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election over the weekend saw DAP’s Pang Sock Tao of Pakatan Harapan trounce Bersatu’s Khairul Azhari Saut of PN with a majority of 3,869 votes in a four cornered fight to retain the semi-urban mixed constituency.
