Raisi has blood in his hands, says White House

White House has accused the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi who was killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday as having “blood on his hands” due to the support given to groups deemed as extremist in the Middle East.

White House national security spokesperson John Kirby told reporters that the United States will continue to hold Iran accountable for what he called destabilizing activity in the region.

“No question this was a man who had a lot of blood on his hands,” Kirby said, Reuters reported.

This is in regards to Raisi’s support for groups such as the Hamas.
