Selangor water supply resumes tomorrow

Pengurusan Air Selangor has given its word that the water supply disruption that affected 28 areas in three districts since yesterday have been rectified. Normal water supply would resume tomorrow.

The repair works at Jalan Budiman, Section 22 Shah Alam was completed at dawn today.

“Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages when the repair works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised.

“Water supply is expected to fully recover at 6.00 am on May 28.

“The duration of water supply recovery period differs depending on the location of the consumer’s premises and the water pressure at the distribution system,” the statement said.

Air Selangor said it would continue to mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, with priority given to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres and funerals during the unscheduled water supply disruption.

“Air Selangor will provide updates progressively from time to time through all mediums, especially the mass media.
