Nanyang Daily highlighted they believed that the improvement in the sluggish property market in our country undoubtedly injected new momentum into economic development. With robust growth in housing demand, the construction industry, financial sector, and related supply chains all encountered new development opportunities, the daily added.

However, while the government encouraged growth in the housing market, it also needed to implement effective measures to prevent market overheating and imbalanced development, the daily said.

By strengthening market monitoring and regulation, ensuring the healthy and stable development of the real estate market, a solid foundation was laid for sustained economic prosperity in our country, the daily said.

Sin Chew Daily focused on Malaysia-Singapore relations based on the meeting between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his Singaporean counterpart, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

Sin Chew Daily suggested focusing on the issues as follows:

Firstly, addressing the issue of Malaysians commuting to Singapore, which had led to brain drain issue in Malaysia. Secondly, completing the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) to alleviate congestion on the Johor Bahru Causeway and the Second Link Expressway at Tuas.

Thirdly, seriously considering the resumption of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project. Fourthly, promoting the Johor-Singapore Economic Zone project.
