Dr Mahathir most competent, Saifuddin remarks sarcastically

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail passed a sarcastic remark against former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

“I agree as Dr Mahathir is the most competent person in the world. This is what I agree with,” he told reporters after closing the Retired Senior Police Officers Association (Respa) annual general meeting at the Police Academy, reported New Straits Times.

The minister made the remark in response to Dr Mahathir’s criticism that the present government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim are made up of good politician who are not smart in administrative matters.

In a recent exclusive interview with FMT, Sr Mahathir said that the cabinet is made up of members who were less efficient in administration and many lack experience in governance.

The former two time premier also said the cabinet members could not translate their popularity into effective administration.
