Claim of Chinese taking over Malaysia is false, says AMANAH president

AMANAH president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu dismissed claims of Chinese taking over Malaysia as falsehoods.

He stated that these sentiments were being used by certain groups to rally support, adding that instead the Chinese population was actually decreasing.

“The government defends the rights of all races, as enshrined in the Federal Constitution.

“As such, this government should last until its full time. After that, you want to vote in Pakatan Harapan or reject Perikatan Nasional, that is up to you.

“This is our hope,” he added.

He said this during the Ceramah Perpaduan in Sungai Duri, Penang last night, reported NST.

Mohamad stated that since the formation of the unity government over eighteen months ago, the rights of Malays have not been impacted.

Mohamad was there to campaign for PH candidate Dr. Joohari Ariffin in the Sungai Bakap by-election, where he will compete directly against PN’s Abidin Ismail.

The Sungai Bakap by-election is scheduled for July 6, with early voting slated for July 2.
