PN’s altercation with the deputy speaker
Datuk Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh (PN-Besut) had an altercation with Deputy Speaker Alice Lau Kiong Yieng when he attempted to ask the status of government friendly lawmaker Datuk Dr Zulkafperi Hanafi (PN-Tanjung Karang).
He however did not raise any point of order.
Lau: Which point of order?
Che Mohamad: Today’s point of order.
Lau: If it is not related…
Che Mohamad: It is related, it is related.
Lau: Don’t waste time. Which point of order?
Che Mohamad: It is not a waste of time. I would like your advice even though you are young.
Lau: Which point of order?
Che Mohamad: I want to know the position of Tanjung Karang. Is he with the government or opposition.
Lau: There is no point of order so please sit. I invite Khairil Nizam Khirudin for the next question
Che Mohamad: You have to be fair.
Lau: Please sit down. Don’t waste time.
Che Mohamad: I am not wasting time. I need some explanation. This is a meeting.
Lau: Ask for an explanation from the speaker
Che Mohamad: Aah darn it.
Lau: If you are not satisfied, please leave.
Zulkafperi is among the six Bersatu MPs who have become friendly to the federal government administration.
Bersatu have already amended its constitution and expelled the six. In addition to that the party also have notified Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul to vacate the seats.
Johari has previously stated that he has three weeks before he gives his verdict.
