PH must deliver results to earn votes

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim reminded the people of our country not to use social media platforms to attack others or expose their privacy, as such actions will only lead to division and conflict, headlined China Press and Sin Chew Daily.

Driven by the boom of AI-powered data centres, Malaysian stocks showed impressive performance in the first half of the year, reported Nanyang Daily. The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI rose by 9.31%, leaving investors delighted.

Prime Minister and Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated that the unity government respects and accepts the defeat of the PH candidate in the Sungai Bakap state seat by-election in Penang, front-paged Kwong Wah Daily and Guang Ming Daily.

Sin Chew Daily said that non-Malays, especially the Chinese, have strongly supported Pakatan Harapan (PH) in recent years, but this support is not blind or unconditional. PH must deliver results to continue earning their votes, added the daily.

Malaysia and China have consistently upheld the spirit of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, said Nanyang Daily.

Both nations adhere to a mutually beneficial relationship and open cooperation said the daily. They also advocate for solidarity, friendship, and collaboration, and are committed to fostering continuous friendly development in bilateral relations while promoting stability and progress in Asia, added the daily.
