Malaysia should deepen economic collaboration with Cambodia
Investment Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Liew Chin Tong emphasized the need for Malaysia to deepen economic collaboration with Cambodia, especially since Malaysia will assume the chairmanship of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) next year.
“As fellow members of ASEAN, Malaysia and Cambodia should deepen our economic collaboration, especially taking the opportunity when Malaysia chairs ASEAN next year.
“It was a pleasure receiving Vith Pahnha, Commercial Attaché at the Cambodian Embassy in Malaysia for a chat earlier,” he said via a Facebook post.
ASEAN, is a political and economic union comprising of 10 member states in Southeast Asia.
Member states of ASEAN include Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
