Popular insurance broker, a robber?

China Press headlined that a robber who nearly killed someone, turned out to be a popular insurance broker from a top-ranking insurance company, known for his affluent lifestyle and luxury Audi car.

He has been resorting to disguising himself as a food delivery rider since 2019 due to financial recklessness, often targeting individuals wearing jewelry or gold accessories in tea shops, scouting on his motorcycle for opportunities to commit thievery. Over the years, he has committed at least 7 cases.

Nanyang Daily reported that the analysis conducted by market experts concludes that among gasoline cars, hybrid cars, and electric cars, hybrid cars have the lowest operating costs, making them the best value for money compared to the others.

Sin Chew Daily, Kwong Wah Daily and Guang Ming Daily front paged that Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek yesterday announced that students who achieve 10’A’s or above in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) will will be offered a place in matriculation courses.

Currently, the 712 outstanding students who did not secure placements will be admitted by the third week of August at the latest.
