Puad to Muhyiddin: How do you save Malaysia when you sunk it?

Umno supreme council member Datuk Dr Puad Zarkashi took PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin to task over the Gelombang Selamatkan Malaysia (Save Malaysia Wave) rally

“Can Muhyiddin save Malaysia? Malaysia fell for 17 months when Muhyiddin was prime minister,” said Puad, referring to the short period Muhyiddin led the government.

The rally was held last night in Taman Melewar, Gombak.

The opposition backed rally featured, among others, former Umno men Isham Jalil, former Selangor Umno chief Tan Sri Noh Omar former Putrajaya Umno leader Tun Faisal Aziz and Negeri Sembilan Bersatu info chief Badrul Hisham Shaharin, popularly known as Chegu Bard.

Puad also listed Muhyiddin’s failure when the latter helmed the nation.

“There was no foreign investment coming in. You returned from Saudi Arabia empty handed. How to save Malaysia. Even your son-in-law absconded.

“Was declaring emergency during the Covid-19 pandemic saving Malaysia? That was to save your power. This nation was devastated,” he said via a Facebook post.

Puad then turned his attention to the speakers who took the podium last night.

“Those who were on the stage were ministers too without anything to shout about.

“It was comedic to see Isham Jalil and Tun Faisal on stage. It would be better for them to pressure Muhyiddin to convince the latter’s son-in-law to return.

“They too have their court cases. Resolve that first before talking.”

Muhyiddin’s son-in-law, Muhammad Adlan Berhan absconded from the country even as the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission was investigating him for criminal breach of trust.
