Its official… Azmawi Fikri is BN’s man for Nenggiri

Kelantan Umno has officially declared its Youth chief Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani as the BN candidate for the Nenggiri by-election that would be held on August 17.

Kelantan Umno liaison chief Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub made the announcement in a press conference in Kota Bharu.

The candidacy of the 38 year old Azmawi was finalised by party president Datuk Seri ahmad Zahid Hamidi and received the support of the division.

The Nenggiri by-election has been called after Kelantan state assembly received a written notice on the seat vacancy on June 13. The incumbent Azizi Abu Naim of Bersatu had been sacked from his party

Azmawi is expected to face off with a candidate from Bersatu.
