Aiman Athirah: Stop slandering me, you have 48 hours

Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu has called out Facebook user Md Nor Azam Yusof to stop spreading slanders and defaming her.

“I am advising Md Nor Azam Yusof to remove the post and stop spreading slanders, or be ready to face legal action.

“I have instructed my team to collect all the information and related false news and will not hesitate to take legal action.

“I have never okayed these drinks but these group of ex-communicators are giving the green light to slanders and embarrassing me with slanders. 48 hours.”

This is in relations to a Facebook post Azam posted linking the Wanita Amanah leader to the Tiger Asian Lager.

Azam in his post described the deputy minister as the child borne from rocket.

Rocket is a term in reference to DAP’s logo. Opposition parties have often accused Amanah as a party that was formed based on the DAP.

Tiger is a beer brand.

The defamatory post by Azam is also a sensitive issue for Muslims as Islam forbids its followers from consuming liquid that can cause one to be drunk.
