CrowdStrike’s damages

China Press headlined that on July 19, Microsoft’s Windows system suffered a major outage that disrupted services for numerous airlines, banks, and stock exchanges worldwide.

However, Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Terminal 1 (KLIA1) was unaffected, and its service systems continued to operate normally.

Nanyang Daily reported that the culprit behind the global computer system breakdown was identified as CrowdStrike, a leading American cybersecurity firm, which saw its market value evaporate by USD $9 billion dollar approximately (RM 42.2 billion) overnight.

Anwar added that Sultan Ibrahim not only upholds Islam as the federal religion, strengthens the position of the Malay language, and defends the rights and privileges of Malays and indigenous peoples, but also ensures equality and justice for all citizens, reflecting the principles of constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy.
