Flights cancelled due to Typhoon Gaemi
In anticipation of severe weather from Typhoon Gaemi, Malaysia Airlines has cancelled flights MH366 from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei and MH367 from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur.
MH367 was scheduled to arrive in Kuala Lumpur today at 8 pm, while MH366 was set to arrive in Taipei City, Taiwan, at 2:10 pm today.
“Affected customers who wish to change their flights or cancel their travel may do so via ‘My Booking’ on our website,” Malaysia Airlines said in a statement on July 24, reported Bernama.
Alternatively, customers may also contact the Live Chat support on the website or call the Global Contact Centre, added the national carrier.
“The safety of our passengers and crew remains of utmost importance to Malaysia Airlines,” Malaysia Airlines said.
The last Typhoon Gaemi occurred from June 14 to June 18, 2018, impacting the western Pacific Ocean.
On June 19 2018, the Philippines National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported three deaths caused by the typhoon.
Additionally, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan experienced agricultural damage estimated at ¥84.58 million ( RM2,575,156.51).
