When fake TikTok accounts turn into prosecutor and judge

A TikTok account with a total of nine videos appears to play the role of both the prosecutor and judge against TikTok influencer the late A Rajeswary, better known as Esha.

The account does not have its own content. Instead it is made up of live recordings and news clips. There are a total of nine clips. The account is @ekvillan8787 with the name Ek Villan.

Clearly it is a fake account.

Prominently featured in these videos are Indian Muslim convert preacher Zamri Vinoth Kalimuthu and Sophian Mohd Zain.

Most of the clips attempts to depict Esha in a bad light.

The account attempts to imply that Esha was a Muslim though she was a practising Hindu.

There are concerns that if the content on this account is spread, it may lead to unforeseen circumstances.

A similar format can also be seen in another fake account, Takali360 whose account @takali3605.

While the identity of the account holder is not known, it can be safe to say that the account holder is an Indian who knows Tamil since the account name refers to tomato.

Yesterday two DAP leaders had highlighted the case of some people selling babies via TikTok.

The micro video blogging company banned the account upon request from Deputy Communications Minister, Teo Nie Ching.
