The nexus of Esha’s death, cyberbullying and gangsterism
The death of 29-year-old TikTok influencer A Rajeswary who is also a Hindu rights activist via suicide on July 5 put the spotlight on the social media platform as a hotspot for cyberbullying. She was popular as Esha.
Prior to her death, Esha had named three individuals in her police report – Dulal Brothers whose real name is B Sathiskumar, Shalini Periasamy also known as alphaquinnsha and Dhanya Neevashinie Shankar of Glory Cosmetics.
Both Sathis and Shalini have already been charged in court.
But that is not the end of the story.
Harapan Daily gained an insight into the nexus of cyberbullying and gangsterism that led to Esha’s death.
Behind individuals like Dulal and alphaquinnsha, there is a nexus of syndicated online gangsters who extended their activities into the cyberworld.
Kulim’s alleged involvement in Esha’s case
It is learnt that one dsp.kulim who goes by the name Mr Kulim and Sosma CEO mediated an online settlement involving Shalini and the late Esha. Esha’s friends had revealed that her behaviour during the live was not normal as she was not herself and appeared to be very submissive in the entire live session. This had happened on July 3.
Sosma CEO and Kulim are the names of TikTok accounts.
Kulim has 13,600 followers and 96,700 likes only has two videos on his account but he is very active on live sessions.
At the time of writing the Sosma CEO account no longer exists.
On the day of Esha’s death, a video featuring Dulal who is also known as Kabali and Shalini calling on Esha for an offline settlement went viral.
In the video several individuals justified Dulal’s actions and wanted Esha to settle the matter with Dulal.
Esha questioned why Dulal used vulgarities against her and trolled her. The conversation ignored the fact that cyberbullying took place. The mediator appears to be a gangster.
The involvement of Kulim in Esha’s case is of suspect as he was not Esha’s close friend but he was spotted at the residence where Esha passed away. He was also spotted at the police station where police reports were made on Dulal add Shalini.
On July 7, Kulim went on several live sessions claiming that he was doing undercover work to expose Dulal and Shalini.
He also claimed that he knew Esha for several years and was helping her.
On July 8, accounts affiliated to Kulim such as Sosma CEO hosted a live session for his affiliates such as Reborn Kutty, Reborn Cowboy, Harpic.
