Jagdeep on MC until tomorrow, confirms Chow

Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has confirmed that his second deputy chief minister, Jagdeep Singh Deo’s medical leave has been extended until tomorrow, Aug 9.

Jagdeep had informed Chow regarding his medical leave extension on Aug 2.

“He told me that he is in good condition and requested a leave extension until Aug 9,” said Chow in a statement.

Jagdeep has been on medical since July 22 to treat his injured left ankle.

He initially was supposed to return to work today.

The 53-year-old has been Deputy Chief Minister II since August 2023.

He is also Datok Keramat assemblyman.
