PM in the dark over speculated Cabinet reshuffle

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has denied that there is any truth in rumours of a speculated Cabinet reshuffle this month.

He said he was in the dark over the reshuffle and was only informed of it today.

“Who wants to help with the reshuffle? I didn’t hear it, seriously. I have not heard.

“It could happen after the election (the Nenggiri by-election), God willing,” he told reporters in jest after launching the Malaysian Commercialisation Year Summit 2024 today.

Earlier today, FMT quoted sources stating that a Cabinet reshuffle would happen by the end of this month.

A prominent minister was either going to be dropped or have his portfolio changed.

In addition to that a Menteri Besar may be brought into the Cabinet.
