BN bags Orang Asli, early voters in Nenggiri
BN has bagged all six Orang Asli polling districts. The six are Kuala Sungai, Tohoi, SUngai Puian, Sungai Jenera, Simpor and Sungai Wias.
This was confirmed by BN secretary general Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.
The six are part of 20 polling districts that is catering for the 20,259 registered voters.
BN fielded Kelantan Umno Youth chief Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani whereas PN’s candidate is Mohd Rizwadi Ismail represents PN in today’s battle for Nenggiri.
BN also took a lead in early votes, gaining 30 to PN that received six votes.
At the time of writing PN only won four polling districts.
Unofficial results indicate that BN gained 6,911 votes to PN’s 4109 votes.
The results are from 38 out of 47 voting channels.
As of 7.30pm, BN won 7,115 votes and PN won 4,269 votes.
It is a convincing win compared to the 810 vote majority during the state polls.
