Sabah PH undecided over logo for state polls

Sabah Pakatan Harapan is undecided on whether it would use the GRS logo in the upcoming state polls.

“We are open to working with anybody when the time comes. But to me, it is too early for Harapan to consider this,” said Sabah PH chairman Christina Liew.

“Right now, we may consider any option, but this is subject to finalisation by all parties concerned. I am sure we will eventually arrive at a most winnable solution,” she said in a statement last night, Malaysiakini reported.

She said this in response to calls by GRS deputy chairman Jeffrey Kitingan that all parties working with GRS should be using the same logo in the state polls.

The state polls must be held by Dec 9 next year.

PKR and UPKO had used its own logo during the state polls in 2020 and PH had an electoral pact with Warisan.

DAP and AMANAH used Warisan’s logo.

Post GE15 saw a major political realignment with the falling apart of Sabah PN and the formation of GRS which Harapan is now part of in the state. GRS is aligned with PH at the federal level.
