Lee Kuan Yew’s daughter dies
The daughter of Singapore’s first prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, Dr Lee Wei Ling died today at the age of 69.
She had progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) a brain disease similar to Parkinson’s that slows physical movements impairs fast eye movements and balance four years ago.
Her death was announced by her brother Lee Hsien Yang via Facebook earlier this morning.
She died at Lee Kuan Yew’s family home.
Wei Ling was a paediatric neurologist, specialising in epilepsy.
Former prime minister Lee Hsien Loong also took to Facebook to pen a heart touching for his sister.
