PHEB: Open debate? Let MACC probe first
The open feud involving former and current Penang Hindu Endowment Board commissioners continues as Urimai’s Satees Muniandy dared MIC Penang chief Datuk J Dhinagaran to an open debate on PHEB.
This is despite calls from a former commissioner for all parties to cool down as the feud only serves to tarnish PHEB’s standing in the Indian community.
Tamil news site Vanakkam Malaysia had come forward to organise the debate.
The topic suggested is PHEB before and after 2008.
This is because MIC had played a major role in PHEB prior to a change in government following the general elections that saw Pakatan Harapan taking over Penang.
Dhinagaran however turned down the debate dare.
He wants the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission to probe into PHEB.
Prior to this, present PHEB chairman RSN Rayer have already lodged a report to the MACC.
