Thumbs up for PM Anwar for exposing US interference
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim gained the thumbs up from the little known Indian news portal Janta Ka Reporter’s editor – in – chief, Rifat Jawaid for exposing United States of America’s interference in the politics of other nations when Anwar recently revealed that he told off US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.
Jawaid described Anwar’s response as extraordinary.
“All the talk of Americans, that they don’t interfere in other people’s internal politics and Anthony Blinken, literally number two in the hierarchy of the government telling another head of a sovereign state not to be friendly with Russia.
“How did Anwar react? According to him, he bluntly rejected Blinken’s advice. Anwar was speaking at an event at the National Defence University (UPNM) when he decided to reveal the content of his conversation with Blinken.
“Quite extraordinary. He said he met Blinken on the sidelines of the Asean Summit in Laos last month. They had a close door meeting for one hour where they discussed the situation in the middle east and other topics related to geopolitics.
“Anwar says that Blinken told him not to be friendly with Russia to which the Malaysian prime minister said ” replied, that’s your issue; don’t instruct us. we are an independent sovereign country. We make our decisions for our own people and our nation.
“This truly shows the level this rogue US politicians can go to in their bid to reap benefits of unjust wars. They are nothing but war mongers although they preach peace but their every single action both behind the scenes and in public is aimed at creating unrest.”
Jawaid explained that America is concerned about Malaysia, an ASEAN member becoming a partner nation in BRICS.
“Malaysia being an ASEAN member hasn’t gone down well with America, hence this not so friendly advice to Malaysia to end friendly relations with Russia. But I am glad Anwar has stood firm and snubbed this war criminal called Anthony Blinken
“America is also concerned that ASEAN may become significantly weak when its members states join BRICS.
“That worry was evident on Blinken’s face when he faced the media on the sidelines at the Asean Summit on Oct 11.
“When Blinken says he doesn’t do politics, please be assured that he has only done politics in his term as Secretary of State in the last four years.
“Anwar singled out Blinken. this is exactly what his (Blinken’s) predecessor’s have done.
“They are nothing but war mongers.”
