PM for Palestine: Give PMX more time
First term Bagan Dalam assemblyman Kumaran Krishnan urged factions of the Malaysian society to give more time for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, better known as PMX, to bring about real changes to the society instead of calling him out as Prime Minister for Palestine.
“That is the disappointment of some factions (in the society). Give him some time. It has only been two years.
“Give him some time, damage was done for almost 60 years. It cannot be undone in just two years.
“Give him some time I believe we have leaders who have been supporting him from DAP, who are there, who would be working closely with our PM to ensure that it can be done.
“It takes collective team work,” Kumaran who is better known as Calvin remarked during an interview at his service centre in Penang recently.
Reference to Anwar as PM for Palestine arose following the strong stance that Anwar had taken in support of the Palestinian plight.
It intensified when the Anwar led government sent in helicopters to assist in providing medical assistance to those affected by the ongoing conflict since Oct 7 last year.
Detractors claimed that Anwar prioritised Palestinians over Malaysians in giving out aid.
