Alleged cyberbully surrenders for allegedly beating up an individual

Alleged cyberbully who is better known as DSP Kulim surrendered at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters earlier today for allegedly beating up an individual.

DSP Kulim whose real name is G Vinod Raj was well known on TikTok for his cyberbullying activities. He is also associated with Shalini Periasamy, based on several videos that the latter had made.

The 35 year old was detained based on a police report filed against him at the Kajang district police headquarters for causing grievous injury and confiscating injury on the victim.

Harapan Daily viewed the police report that was filed on 10 January.

The incident took place on the evening of Dec 29 in Semenyih.

Vinod and another Indian male grabbed the victim and hit the head, legs and arms of the victim with a steering lock, wood and a helmet. Two other Indian men, identified as Siva and Seenu Bhai then forced the victim into their white Alphard.

A noose was tied around the victim’s neck.

The two men then robbed him of RM1000 and called for a Grab using the victim’s phone that enabled the victim to return to Semenyih.

The victim was received a total of 26 stitches due to this incident.

There are talks in the public claiming that DSP Kulim was seen at Shalini’s residence the day she was detained over TikTok influencer, the late Esha’s death.

He is also believed to be present near the late Esha’s residence on the day the latter died.

All four, including DSP Kulim are currently being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code.

The section criminalises the act of voluntarily causing hurt using dangerous weapons.

Once convicted they are looking at a prison sentence of upto 10 years, fine and whipping.
