Tamil schools with less students in Klang didn’t apply to relocate

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek confirmed that while there are four Tamil primary schools with less students in Klang, none had put forth an official application to relocate its premises.

“Based on the data as of Dec 31st, there are four primary Tamil schools with Less Students status in Klang district.

“However as of now, no official application have been submitted to the ministry regarding the relocation of the schools,” she said in a written reply.

Fadlina said this in response to V Ganabatirao (PH-Klang) who asked on the number of new primary and secondary schools that will be built and the number of Tamil schools that would be relocated to areas with high population density in 2025.

As for new schools, Fadhlina there are six new schools that would be built under the 12th Malaysia Plan – SMK Meru, SK Bukit Raja, SMK Johan Setia, SK Bayuemas. SK Bandar Putera and SMK Bandar Botanik.

In addition to that two more schools SK Desa Latania and SMK Kota Kemuning 2 that was approved in 2021 but got delayed in 2021 would be built in 2026.
