A CHASE City for the B40 and M40 Kuala Lumpur dwellers

The Federal Territories Department has plans to create a CHASE City that would cater for the B40 and M40 residents in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

“CHASE is an acronym for Clean City, Healthy City, Advanced City, Safe City and Eco Friendly City,” Federal Territories Dr Zaliha Mustafa said.

“To ensure the safety of the residents in the housing are, the developers would be required to provide CCTV facilities according to the technical needs and specification of the local authorities or as stated in the Development order or Permission to Plan Building Structure.”

In addition the department has stipulated that each housing development especially Residensi Madani must be equipped with facilities for sports, green area, health facilities, education facilities and inclusive spaces for senior citizens

She revealed this in her written reply to P Prabakaran (PH-Batu) in Dewan Rakyat.
