Kit Siang backs Teresa Kok’s integrity

DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang is backing party vice president and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok.

This is in regards to Kok’s admission that her chances in the upcoming DAP polls later this week is somewhat affected due to probe on two of her ex-staff by the Malaysian Anti – Corruption Commission (MACC).

“If this were to happen, it would be most unfortunate indeed.

“I have occasion to ask Teresa what happened and she told me the whole story.

“I believe Teresa did not report the matter to the Anti-Corruption Agency and was not responsible for the arrest of her two former officers.

“I believe Teresa stands for integrity, accountability, responsibility, good governance and democracy,” he said in a statement.
