Ayer Kuning by-election: The significance of voting for the BN candidate, says Perak AMANAH chief

With less than 48 hours to go for the Ayer Kuning by-election, Perak AMANAH chief Asmuni Awi has called upon the voters to vote for BN for several reasons.

“As partners in the Unity Government, AMANAH believes that the stability, continuity in policy and ability to deliver the best services to the people can only be achieved via candidates who are with the ruling state and federal government,” Asmuni said in a statement.

“A vote for the BN candidate is not just a vote for the party but also a vote for the stability in administration, continuous development and an assurance that Ayer Kuning’s voice would be heard by the state administration.”

He also pointed out the need to ensure the momentum of unity government post GE15 continues.

“This by-election is a chance to ensure the momentum is retained. Don’t let the voice of the people to part ways from the ruling government because it would stall matters that should be delivered to the people.”

The by-election on Apr 26 is a three cornered tussle between BN’s Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir, PN’s Abdul Muhaimin Malek and PSM’s KS Bawani.
