Does MCA dare to demonstrate over MyKiosk issue or raise it in parliament?
Ipoh Timor MP Howard Lee Chuan How dared MCA vice president Wee Jeck Seng to either demonstrate or raise the alleged discrepancies in the MyKiosk issue in the parliament.
“I openly challenge you. Bring the MCA members and demonstrate at any spots where MyKiosk has been built. Lets see who would follow suit. People are not fools. They judge based on actions, not empty words.
“Your accusation that the cost is above market price is a manipulative narrative, with bad intent and fake interpretation of your propaganda machinery.
“If your claim is true, why did MCA reps in city councils also approve MyKiosk 1.0 and 2.0 remain silent. MCA has truly lost its direction and its relevance.
“If you still want to go on, I suggest that both of us raise ministerial question, oral question and question in special chambers.
“We can request the Speaker to give us both space in the same session. Let the minister respond directly.
“Let the whole nation see and judge for themselves – who is speaking the truth, who is spreading slanders; who is championing the people, who wants to return to a ministerial position.”
He also welcomed the move by MCA to lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) over alleged discrepancies in the MyKiosk project that is handled by the Housing and Local Government Ministry.
The DAP political education director added that the MCA should also lodge a police report.
“I welcome it. I will further welcome their report to the police. And I challenge them to bring (the MyKiosk) it to parliament,” he said in a message to Harapan Daily.
In a statement yesterday, Wee questioned the difference in MyKiosk prices from RM25,000 to RM34,000 even though the market price was higher.
The Tanjung Piai MP also questioned the lack of transparency in the bidding process and the unused kiosks.
Earlier today MCA lodged a report with the MACC.
