KJ on speculations of a cabinet comeback

Former minister Khairy Jamaluddin, better known as KJ, has dismissed speculations regarding a cabinet comeback as he has his hands full.

“I just want to say that I have a lot of unfinished projects and business that I need to take care of. I’m quite happy doing what I’m doing for the time being.

“At least until the end of the year, I’m not thinking of rejoining politics,” he said when approached at the sidelines of a forum in Kuala Lumpur regarding hospital treatment costs, reported Malaysiakini.

“They require my time and focus. At least until the end of the year, I’ll be busy. After that, we can discuss…

“We’ll see how it goes. I’m busy right now,” said the popular Keluar Sekejap co-host.

There are rumours that he would be appointed into the cabinet following the resignations of Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
