Sabah polls: AMANAH eyes for four seats, hopeful to make its debut

AMANAH is aiming to contest in four state seats in the upcoming Sabah polls.

Party election director Sany Hamzan who is also Hulu Langat MP revealed the four seats: Tanjung Aru, Karambunai, Lumadan and Sulabayan.

Party president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu meanwhile confirmed that they are going through the final stages of seat negotiations.

“We really wish that AMANAH can make its debut in Sabah. That is our hope.”

He said this at the launch of Penang AMANAH headquarters in Sungai Dua, Tasek Gelugor, Penang over the weekend.

AMANAH is the only party that did not win seats in the last polls in 2020 during which Pakatan Harapan formed an alliance with Warisan.

This time around Warisan have confirmed that it is going solo.
