ASEAN – UK Health Security Partnership to be launched next month
The ASEAN – UK Health Security Partnership is set to be launched on July 4.
It is a five – year plan to enhance regional health and would be launched by Malaysia in its capacity as ASEAN chair.
This was among the issues discussed by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad when he received a courtesy visit from British High Commissioner Ajay Sharma CMG yesterday.
Aside from that, Dzulkefly also mentioned that the government is inspired to develop Drinking Water Quality Act from the UK which will enhance the quality of drinking water.
Another aspect that Malaysia looks to the UK is sharing of expertise in the field of precision medicine and HPV vaccination expansion through a risk communication approach that also integrates health app, MySejahtera.
