DAP’s CEC co-opts 10 more members, more projects in the pipeline
DAP central executive committee has co-opted 10 of its leaders into the CEC.
The 10 are as follows:-
Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying
Penang Port Commission chairman Yeoh Soon Hin
Buntong state assemblywoman Thulsi Manogaran
Batu Gajah MP V Sivakumar
Selangor state exco Paparaidu Veraman
Youth and Sports Minister’s political secretary Yap Vee Vonne
Stulang state assemblyman Chen Kah Eng
Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen
Veteran Wu Him Ven
Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board chairman Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali.
This was announced by party secretary general Anthony Loke.
In addition to that the CEC also endorsed Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng
Jen as DAP parliamentary leader.
The second party advisor position goes to Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai.
The disciplinary committee is now led by former PJ Utara MP Tony Pua.
The legal bureau continues to be led by Bukit Gelugor MP Ramkarpal Singh.
DAP also enforced its management committee –

- National Treasurer Ngeh Koo Ham
- National Organising Secretary Khoo Poay Tiong
- National Publicity Secretary Yeo Bee Yin
- National Director of Political Education Lee Chuan How
The party’s representatives to the Pakatan Harapan presidential council are made up of eight people –
Loke Siew Fook, Lim Guan Eng, Gobind Singh Deo, Nga Kor Ming, Chong Chieng Jen, Syahredzan Johan, Teo Nie Ching, Woo Kah Leong.
The party also has tasked Penang DAP chief Steven Sim Chee Keong with party’s 60th anniversary celebration next year.
A new party headquarters for the DAP is in the pipeline. Called Wisma DAP it will be led by Selangor exco Ng Sze Han.
As for political education, a DAP party school would be establisjed and this will be chaired by Nga Kor Ming.
