He then takes on a question on how the government manages its debt given that the debt has increased from RM1,079.1 billion in 2022 to RM1,247.6 billion towards the end of 2024 since that was was close to 65% of the GDP.

The oral question session would see Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan explaining on the suggestion for a joint development with Indonesia at the ND6 ND7 Ambalat.

Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis (Warisan-Kota Belud) questioned whether the same measures are used by the Malaysia Thailand Joint Development Authority since the rights of Sabah and Sarawak are protected under the Malaysia Agreement 1963.

Zulkifli Ismail (PN-Jasin) raises the question on the size of traditional Malay settlements and Malay reserves in the Federal Territories.

He also asked about the government’s long term plan to retain the identity, ownership and continuity of the Malay community in the heart of cities such as Kuala Lumpur that faces pressure from private development.
