This is the current status of Pamela Ling’s disappearance

The police are still investigating the disappearance of Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh under Section 365 of the Penal Code for abduction, revealed Home Minister.

“The investigation is ongoing and several documents are being completed by the investigation officers before it is handed over to the deputy public prosecutor,” said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in his parliamentary written reply to Ramkarpal Singh (PH-Bukit Gelugor).

Ramkarpal had asked for the investigation status in the case of Ling and whether the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) are also being probed.

Ling, 52, was reported missing after boarding an e-hailing vehicle from her home in Kota Damansara to the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya on the morning of April 9.

The e-hailing driver later lodged a police report, claiming the woman was “taken away” by three individuals believed to be impersonating police officers near the MACC building.
