PM Anwar fields questions on ASEAN Summit, ASEAN chairmanship

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be fielding questions related to the 47th ASEAN Summit that begins on Oct 26.

He would also tell the Dewan Rakyat the achievements of Malaysia as ASEAN chairman and list leaders and international organisations that would be dignitaries to the summit.

The second issue is on the joint efforts by the schools, local communities and security agencies to ensure safety of students at the grassroot level.

The oral question session would see Dr Abdul Ghani Ahmad (PN-Jerlun) questioning whether there are long term measures that can provide temporary financial assistance in the case of divorced parents for their ex-spouses and children.

Wan Ahmad Fayshal Wan Ahmad Kamal (PN-Machang) queries on possible plans to increase sinologists and arabologists in the Foreign Affairs Ministry to solidify Malaysia’s international relations.
